3. What Happens After I Receive a Valid DMCA Notice?

Upon receiving a complete and valid DMCA notice, I will act quickly to:

Review and assess the claim.
Remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing content.
Notify the user who posted the content (if applicable) and provide them with a copy of the notice.

4. Counter-Notification (For Users Who Believe Content Was Removed in Error) – DMCA

If you are a user who believes your content was wrongly removed due to a mistake or misidentification, you may send me a counter-notification. Your counter-notification must include:

Your Signature: Your physical or electronic signature.
Identification: A description of the material that was removed and its original location on my site.
Good Faith Statement: A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good faith belief the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification.
Your Contact & Consent: Your name, address, phone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court in your district (or in Travis County, Texas, if you are outside the USA), and that you will accept service of process from the person who filed the original infringement notice.

If I receive a valid counter-notification, I may forward it to the original complainant. The removed content may be reinstated after 10 business days unless the original copyright owner files an action seeking a court order against the user.

If you are a resident of the European Economic Area (EEA), you have certain data protection rights under the GDPR. An Amateur Cook aims to take reasonable steps to allow you to correct, amend, delete, or limit the use of your Personal Data.
