Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups cold milk
  • 1 5-ounce package instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 1 14-ounce can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 1 12-ounce container frozen whipped topping, thawed
  • 1 16-ounce package vanilla wafers
  • 12 small bananas sliced or more as needed

  • 9x13 dish or trifle bowl
  • Knife (for slicing bananas)

Method
 

  1. Gather all ingredients.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together cold milk and instant vanilla pudding mix for 2 minutes.
  3. Whisk in sweetened condensed milk until smooth.
  4. Stir in vanilla extract.
  5. Gently fold in the thawed whipped topping until fully combined.
  6. Arrange a layer of vanilla wafers in the bottom of a serving dish.
  7. Add a layer of sliced bananas over the wafers.
  8. Spread a layer of pudding mixture on top.
  9. Repeat layers of wafers, bananas, and pudding until all ingredients are used.
  10. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving.
  11. Top with crushed wafers just before serving, if desired.
  12. Serve chilled.
