- Cut the baguette into even rounds.
- Brush both sides of each slice with olive oil.
- Toast until golden and crisp.
- While still warm, rub each slice lightly with garlic.
- Place one slice of fresh mozzarella on each crostini.
- Add halved or sliced cherry tomatoes on top.
- Lightly sprinkle coarse salt over the tomatoes.
- Add a light drizzle of balsamic over each piece.
- Tear the basil leaves and place on top.
