Ingredients
  

  • 1 Green tea bag
  • 1 Chamomile tea bag
  • Juice from 1/2 a lemon
  • 1 cup Water
  • Ice cubes
  • 1 tsp Honey
  • 1 inch grated Turmeric
  • 1 inch grated fresh Ginger
  • 1 tsp dried Chamomile flowers

  • Fine strainer (if using loose tea or flowers)
  • Grater (for ginger and turmeric)
  • Spoon for stirring

Method
 

  1. Boil Water — Bring water to a boil in a pot or kettle until hot and ready for steeping.
  2. Steep Tea — Place green tea and chamomile tea bags in a mug or heat-safe container.
  3. Pour Water — Pour the hot water over the tea bags and let them steep for 5 minutes.
  4. Remove Tea Bags — Take out the tea bags or strain out loose tea and chamomile flowers.
  5. Add Lemon — Squeeze the juice from half a lemon into the tea.
  6. Add Fresh Flavor — Grate turmeric and ginger directly into the mixture for a natural boost of color and nutrients.
  7. Sweeten (Optional) — Stir in a small spoonful of honey if you prefer a sweeter taste.
  8. Let Sit — Allow the tea to rest for another 5 minutes to deepen the flavor.
