Method
- Place the chopped apple, sliced orange, lemon or lime, and raspberries into a large pitcher.
- Pour the red wine, orange juice, and Cointreau (or preferred liqueur) into the pitcher with the fruit.
- Stir the mixture gently to combine all ingredients.
- Cover and chill the sangria overnight in the refrigerator. For deeper fruit flavor, it can be chilled for up to 24 hours.
- When ready to serve, fill glasses with ice.
- Pour the chilled sangria over the ice and serve immediately.
