Ingredients
  

  • 2 c. strawberries
  • 2 c. lemon juice about 10 lemons
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 7 c. water divided

  • Juicer (optional)

Method
 

  1. Step 1: Prep strawberries: Wash, remove stems, and cut into quarters.
  2. Step 2: Blend strawberries: Combine strawberries with 1 cup water in a blender and puree until smooth.
  3. Step 3: Strain mixture: Push puree through a fine mesh strainer to remove seeds and pulp. Set aside.
  4. Step 4: Juice lemons: Cut lemons and extract 2 cups of lemon juice.
  5. Step 5: Make syrup: In a saucepan, combine sugar, 2 cups water, and used lemon halves. Bring to a boil, then remove from heat and let cool covered.
  6. Step 6: Mix everything: In a large pitcher, combine strawberry puree, lemon juice, simple syrup, and remaining 4 cups water.
  7. Step 7: Serve: Garnish with lemon slices and strawberries. Pour over ice and enjoy.
